Ok I know I havent posted lately but been really busy. More on all that later.
In 2003, I had a hysterectomy with the dr taking everything except my ovaries. Well, 2 weeks from tomorrow, all that is going to change. Ive been having a lot of pain in my right groin area, radiating around my hip and lower back w/ the left side sometimes mimicing it. Well, found out on 1/26/11 that I have a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst. Wasnt really a surprise as Ive been researching the pain for a couple weeks before I got the results. The pain is constant and sometimes sharp and burning. Went to see the surgeon this past Thursday and we've decided to take both ovaries, not just the cyst. Im obviously not using them, and if I leave the left ovary, I could have more cysts. So.....ready or not menopause here I come. UUUGGGHHHH!!!
So, while researching in the weeks before, I came across a great site that is supportive, friendly and helping me answer many of my questions. So much so, that Im considering buying a membership.
