Well, Ive lost count on what day this is but I was up yet again at 4 am w/ back spasms. Called the dr yesterday and told him that almost exactly 6 hrs after I take the Flexeril, the spasms start. I had asked one of the nurses to help me look it up in the drug book and it said it peaked at 4-6 hours. NO SHIT. Well, according to the dr, if I didnt smoke, the medicine wouldnt wear off at 6 hrs. Yea ok. I know I need to quit but dont use that as an excuse for the meds not working. I need help with my pain relief, not a lecture! So the secretary said they would call in Skelaxin. I called the pharmacy last night to check the price and its $360 for a month supply!!! WTF!!!! So I will be calling the dr yet again today. He's always given me samples before but they dont have any right now because they have new pharm reps. GRRRRRRR. Well, at least Im off the weekend. Labor Day party on Sunday at Denny and Kathy's. Been looking forward to this and kids are really excited too. Well, the twins are. JT will be at a friends at always cause god forbid a teenagers spends time at home on the weekend! LOL.
